Code Name Red Rose: Rebirth

Three years ago, she was Thorn, an ace operative who made her enemies tremble, until a teammate’s betrayal sent her plummeting into the abyss. Three years later, she is Su Wan, a gentle and patient antique restorer, living an ordinary life with her “son.” Then an encrypted chip hidden inside the bronze mirror her husband left behind drags her back onto a battlefield where every move could mean life or death.

A severed finger in a mysterious package, a strange shadow outside her son’s kindergarten, Morse code tapping at her door in the dead of night... As danger closes in, she sheds her gentle disguise and breaks a thug’s wrist with her bare hands, only to be caught in the act by a man with an intimidating presence.

Lu Chengze takes hold of her bloodstained fingertips, curiosity and fervor hidden in his eyes. “Miss Su, your restoration knife seems better suited to killing.”

Su Wan pulls her hand back and shields her son. “Mr. Lu, you’ve got the wrong person. I’m just an ordinary mother.”

But when her “son” is kidnapped and a photo from the kidnappers reveals the tattoo of the traitor from years ago, she grips the poisoned needle hidden in her hair, her gaze as cold as ice. “Touch anyone I care about, and I’ll drag you all to hell with me!”

Lu Chengze takes a bullet meant for her, blood staining his white shirt. “This time, I won’t let you face it alone.”

Watching him fall, Su Wan finally tears away every last disguise.

“Rose reporting in. Requesting backup!”
