Dark Web Agent: Codename Viper

Ling Feng, a street punk who scrapes by with his hacking skills, accidentally binds himself to the “Viper Agent System” after hacking into a mysterious server. From then on, his street-fighting baton is replaced by nanoscale assassination weapons, and the computer in his rented room becomes a quantum-encrypted terminal.

System mission issued: “Beginner mission: Infiltrate a transnational drug lord’s lair and steal a formula for a new narcotic. Failure penalty: System unbound, memories erased.”

To stay alive, Ling Feng is forced to take the path of a secret agent. While undercover in a gang, he uses street smarts to turn the enemy’s second-in-command against them. When uncovering a biological conspiracy, he uses his hacking skills to cripple the enemy base. And when betrayed by a mole, he lays a trap that turns the tables and makes his opponent pay for their own schemes.

From an outcast on the fringes of the dark web to the Dragon Group’s ace agent, Ling Feng takes the System’s “disguise mask” and “emotion reader” and carves out a roguishly handsome path to a comeback through a hail of bullets. When the Phantom Alliance’s bounty notice spreads through the underworld and the Ark Group’s army of cyborgs closes in, Ling Feng smirks around his cigarette. “Want to kill me? Ask the virus code in my hands if it agrees first!”
