Espionage: Code Name Beehive

In the Shanghai concessions in 1937, Lu Chen, a former special forces instructor, transmigrates into the body of Asano Akira, an ethnic Chinese employee of the Japanese military intelligence service. From the start, he faces an identity check, but his awakened Hive Intelligence System lets him turn the tables: by touching an object, he can extract information from the past 30 minutes, and by making contact with someone, he can unlock their hidden secrets!

In the eyes of the Japanese, he is a clever and capable rising star in intelligence. In reality, he is a Hive agent planted by the Military Statistics Bureau. He uses false intelligence to lure out the Japanese spy network, bribes his way through the concessions with gold bars, and walks a tightrope between Office 76 and the underground resistance. When a Viper from Tokyo's Special Higher Police lands in Shanghai, and the System assigns him an S-rank mission to steal the plans for biological warfare, Lu Chen grips a cyanide-filled fountain pen and sneers: “This espionage game is mine to play!”

Even the Japanese intelligence chief is amazed: “Asano, your methods could turn the tide of the entire war in East China!” Little does he know that behind the name that strikes fear into the enemy lies a heart burning with patriotism.
