The Silver Comb at Qingming Calls the Grandmother Home

During the Qingming season in an ancient town in the south, unending drizzle wraps the town in damp, cold mist. The cemetery east of town is planted with half-withered cypress trees, and ash from joss paper often sticks in the seams of mourners' shoes. Locals say, "For the three days before Qingming, the gates of the underworld stand half open, and those burdened by deep regrets can return through the mist."
