The Bone-Eating Knuckle Spikes of the Heaven-Breaking Fighter

In the dark arena known as Soul-Eater Abyss, ruled by the Thousand-Soul Spirit Demons, Cang Ya, once a warrior, is now nothing more than a numbered beast: Bloodfang Seventy-Nine. He is forced to wear the Bone-Rending Knuckle Blades, a pair of hideous bone claws, branded into his flesh and set with bloodthirsty fangs. Every victory makes the blades' fangs bite deeper into his finger bones. They feed on his pain and bones, granting him a brief burst of savage power. When Cang Ya discovers that the blades were forged by the Spirit Demons from the despairing souls of countless defeated fighters, all for their amusement, his suppressed fury ignites the fuse of destruction. He smashes at the blades, but their power turns against him, bringing him to the brink of being devoured completely. With no way out, he breaks off the finger bones entangled in the blades. Freed from their restraints, the blades run wild, becoming a bloodfang storm that blots out the sky and shatters the Peak of the Storm, a symbol of the Spirit Demons' authority. After the storm passes, bone fragments from the Peak of the Storm and the remains of the blades gather at Cang Ya's severed fingers, giving birth to a new weapon: Heaven-Piercing Thorn Burial. It is an extension of his bones, a continuation of the curse, and a call to vengeance. Dragging his broken body behind him, Cang Ya grips this blade forged from pain and bones and sets out on a perilous journey to exact final retribution from the Thousand-Soul Spirit Demons. Either he pierces the sky of this prison, or he is buried in the flames of revenge.
