Prisoner of Love: The Obsessive CEO Has His Eye on Me

Yandere obsession + forced love

Shen Qingli thought her youth would be filled with ordinary sweetness: studying in the library and sharing a bowl of hot soup on the snack street with her senior, Lin Zhou, until she wandered into the path of Ye Linghan.

The heir to a powerful conglomerate, who stood at the very top of the pyramid, had a sinister gaze and an iron grip that brooked no refusal. He turned her life upside down. Though he knew her heart belonged to someone else, he relentlessly closed in on her: threatening her with Lin Zhou’s recommendation for graduate school, using his power to cut off every escape route, and trapping her in a gilded cage called “Ye Linghan,” declaring obsessively, “Shen Qingli, you can only be mine.”

She fought back desperately and tried to escape again and again, only to be dragged back by even more demented means. When she saw the possessiveness churning in his eyes, she would also catch glimpses of a tenderness that was almost vulnerable. Meanwhile, her boyfriend Lin Zhou was battered and bruised under Ye Linghan’s oppression as he tried to protect her. Bai Ruoxi, a wealthy heiress who was in love with Ye Linghan, also laid trap after trap, letting misunderstandings spiral between the three of them.

On one side was the protection and heartbreak of her childhood sweetheart; on the other, the imprisonment and surrender of an obsessive tycoon. Standing on the edge of an emotional precipice, Shen Qingli was pulled to the limits between love and hate. Only then did she realize that behind Ye Linghan’s frenzied possessiveness lay a past even he dared not face. With Lin Zhou’s future completely in Ye Linghan’s hands, and Ye Linghan’s gun aimed at the “escape route” she had left, would her choice be salvation, or the beginning of another descent into ruin?
