Ancient Lady System: From Good-for-Nothing to Elegant Lady

Lu Qingwan is a freeloader who has been unemployed for two years since graduating and has no particular talents. After an accident, she transmigrates to the Li Dynasty and becomes Lu Qingwan, the neglected third daughter of the prime minister's household. The third young lady has an ordinary appearance and a carefree, boisterous personality, and is often bullied by her sisters in the household. One day, Qingwan unexpectedly binds herself to an "Ancient Noble Lady Development System." The System tells her that by completing a series of tasks, such as mastering the zither, dazzling everyone at a poetry gathering, and hosting a perfect tea party, she can earn all kinds of rewards and raise her standing among the noble ladies of the capital.

Qingwan knows nothing about these refined pursuits. But to push her to complete her tasks, the System dishes out all sorts of bizarre punishments whenever she slacks off even a little, such as making her suddenly take a face-first tumble while walking or stammer while speaking. To avoid punishment, Qingwan has no choice but to grit her teeth and study.

During her studies, Qingwan meets the male lead, Yun Yi, a renowned general who has won countless battles. He is cold and stern, but after repeated encounters with Qingwan, he is drawn to her optimism and playful antics. However, many noble young ladies surround Yun Yi, and Qingwan tries her best to complete the System's tasks to impress him, yet things always go hilariously wrong.

As time passes, Qingwan gradually grows with the System's help and becomes a celebrated talented woman in the capital. But just when she thinks she and Yun Yi can finally be together, the System issues an ultimate task: Qingwan must reject Yun Yi's confession, or it will take back all her previous rewards. Qingwan is caught in a dilemma. What will she choose, and can she complete her mission while finding love?
