The Monster Bureau for Monsters

Su Xiaomu is a freshman in the literature department. She usually wears cartoon sweatshirts and jeans, looking every bit like a sweet, cuddly cutie who needs to be pampered. Her registration day is quite the spectacle, as though a whole gang of “dads” has shown up: Flanked by four “elders” with wildly different styles and explosive presences, like the center of a constellation, Su Xiaomu instantly becomes the campus's main attraction. She earns such illustrious titles as “Mary Sue in Real Life” and “Protected by Four Dads,” while the bespectacled upperclassman handling registration learns firsthand what “more than a person can bear” really means. But once the dorm-room door closes, the sweet cutie instantly changes her expression. The innocence in her eyes gives way to bottomless coldness. This seemingly scatterbrained student, Su Xiaomu, is actually the Nine Heavens Goddess, the supreme authority of the Demon Administration Bureau. She rules over the demon clan, makes its laws, and holds the power of life and death. Her daily task? Play the part of sweet college student Su Xiaomu. She “zones out” at the milk tea shop while reviewing documents with her spiritual sense, and “reads” in the library while issuing orders to purge her enemies. Her way to unwind? Cuddle her plush toy Mo Yao, who unexpectedly gained sentience and is endlessly chatty and sarcastic, while enjoying its many spectacular attempts at self-destruction and public humiliation in front of all the big shots at the Demon Administration Bureau! This is a hilarious workplace comedy about a “nuclear bomb” of a bureau chief who does the most audacious work with the cutest face, while getting front-row seats to her toy and her “daddy” underlings providing endless cringe-worthy moments! Watch the Nine Heavens Goddess Su Xiaomu switch seamlessly between a sweet disguise and thunderous force, keep the human and demon realms in balance, and find ways to deal with that gang of “dads” who are equal parts lovable and headache-inducing.
