The Lineage of Kunlun Mountain

Set during the reign of Emperor Wu of Han, The Kunlun Lineage unfolds as an epic tale centered on protecting the people. As a youth, Huo Qubing volunteers to campaign in the northern deserts. He happens upon the spirit of the Chu Conqueror's spear and obtains the Xi Men family's secret manual for forging spears. Taking the protection of the people as the foundation of his campaigns, he wins great victories, but attracts the covetous attention of the wandering swordsman Guo Jie. Guo Jie schemes to seize power in the name of protecting the people, but Huo Qubing sees through him and puts an end to his plans.

Before dying of illness, Huo Qubing hides the Conqueror's Spear in Kunlun's Cave of Tranquility and charges future generations to uphold the original purpose of protecting the people. Later, Xuanjizi founds the Kunlun Sect and joins forces with Wei Qing's descendants and righteous martial artists to establish the Jianghu Alliance. They set rules, open clinics, and protect trade routes. Working alongside the imperial government, they also bring about the surrender of the Xiongnu and unify the Western Regions, establishing a system in which the imperial court and the martial world jointly defend the realm.

In the meantime, Snake Lord Hou completes a medical text on antidotes, while the Xi Men family compiles a record of their martial arts traditions. Branches of the Kunlun Sect spread across the Western Regions and establish peace agreements with local tribes. In his later years, Emperor Wu travels to Kunlun to pay tribute to the spirit of the spear, and the Grand Historian writes the Biographies of the Wandering Knights, praising the Jianghu Alliance's achievements. A thousand years later, the Conqueror's Spear still guards Kunlun, and the Kunlun Sect and Jianghu Alliance continue to pass down the spirit of protecting the people. From defending the frontier in the Han dynasty to safeguarding the land in later generations, the oath, “The lineage spreads from Kunlun, defending our realm,” transcends time and becomes an everlasting legend.
