Unforgettable in the Clear Green Days

In September at Qingcheng High School, transfer student Su Wan stepped into Class 2-3 clutching a crumpled enrollment notice and carrying the ginkgo-leaf bookmark her mother had left behind. She was seated beside Lu Ze, a top student bent over his desk solving a math problem. One fallen ginkgo bookmark unexpectedly brought their shared memories to light: the three-hundred-year-old ginkgo tree west of the city, where Su Wan had once admired the autumn leaves with her mother, also stood near Lu Ze's grandmother's old home. This subtle connection gradually drew the two distant classmates closer: messages about homework during evening study hall, a black umbrella tilted toward her on a rainy day, and his arm supporting her after she was injured in PE. The warmth of youth quietly spread through their hearts. Su Wan hid her growing feelings for Lu Ze, while beneath his cool exterior, he quietly kept her emotions close to heart.
