You Said You Were Retiring, So How Did You Become Everyone's Idol?!

【Comedy + lucky charm + unexpected cuteness + all-around powerhouse + meme-worthy moments + wildly satisfying】 Top-tier star Su Che has had it with working like a dog for 28 hours a day! At the awards ceremony where he took home the Best Actor crown, he stunned everyone on the livestream: “I’m done with this damn job. I hereby announce my indefinite retirement from showbiz! Goodbye, I’m off to find my retirement life!” The whole internet erupted! His haters rejoiced, his rivals were baffled, and his fans’ hearts shattered. His agent thought he’d gone crazy, while the company threatened to blacklist him. Su Che simply switched off his phone and headed straight to the barbecue stall downstairs. “Boss, ten skewers of kidneys and a bottle of ice-cold beer!” But the more he tried to slack off, the more the world seemed determined to work against him. He played a game and crushed a streamer, and a clip of his gameplay took Bilibili by storm. Netizens exclaimed, “Those terrifying reflexes! Did the Best Actor retire just to go pro?” He filled in for an old man selling fried noodles by the roadside, and a video of his wok-flipping skills got millions of views. “That power! That arc! The Fried Noodle Immortal! The food world is begging you to debut!” He casually beat a veteran Go champion at the park, leaving the Go world in an uproar: “Su Che, the future of Longguo Go rests on your shoulders!” He casually signed an autograph for a fan. A calligraphy master wept: “Your strokes have the spirit of Wang Xizhi! Your retirement is a tremendous loss to the calligraphy world!” Su Che: “I just want to eat barbecue, play games, and slack off. Why is that so hard?” His agent clutched the phone as one sky-high endorsement offer after another came in, weeping bitterly. “Brother Che, please, come back! You get more attention by slacking off than other top stars do after ten years of hard work!” The entire entertainment industry was dumbfounded. “You said you were retiring, so how did you become the internet’s one and only top-tier star legend by slacking off?!”
