Lin Yuan was once hailed as a genius Water Tamer, but his dreams were shattered when he awakened a good-for-nothing ornamental fish spirit pet. He became an ordinary model enthusiast, scraping by on ship models. Just as he was losing hope, he accidentally awakened a hidden property of his ancestral fish tank, turning it into a portable paradise: the boundless Primordial Ancient Sea. This ancient sea not only speeds up the growth and evolution of spirit pets, but is also home to countless ancient marine leviathans long extinct in the outside world.
Starting with a “glowing clownfish” he raised in his fish tank to beat the neighborhood old men’s fighting fish, Lin Yuan explores the Primordial Ancient Sea, capturing, raising, and evolving an invincible fleet of legendary monsters, including Leviathans, Krakens, and mosasaurs. Using his “model enthusiast” identity as cover, he starts in anonymous online competitions and plays the pig to eat the tiger, fighting his way into the professional league and astonishing the world. Just when everyone thinks he’s merely lucky, he rides an apocalyptic sea monster across the finish line of the world championship and declares to all: “This ocean is mine to command!”
