Didn’t You Say I Should Repay You with My Hand in Marriage for Saving My Life?

[Beautiful, Straightforward Girl vs. Innocent Young Scholar / Blunt, Love-Chasing General] In the twenty-first century, the confident and spirited Nan Sui Sui suddenly lost both her parents overnight at seventeen. After searching for days with no luck, she learned in a dream that her parents had traveled to ancient times. The next day, she inexplicably found herself there too. When she first arrived in the Yunsheng Dynasty, a scholar “rescued” her, and fell for her at first sight, showering her with affection. One day, he paced back and forth outside the room glowing with candlelight. After much inner turmoil, he decided to confess his feelings the next time he returned from the academy. But when he came back, there was no sign of her anywhere. She had gone to the capital to find her parents, so he would pass the imperial examinations and follow her there. Aren’t people supposed to repay the debt of being rescued by offering themselves in marriage? Why did you choose him? On the road, Nan Sui Sui came across a blind man. Little did she know that he had quite a background, and had even secretly regained his sight without telling her. Later, when they met again in the capital, their story continued. He loved her, and she knew it. To repay the debt of being rescued, he offered himself to Nan Sui Sui.
