Bai Hanyu, a surgeon from a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, somehow transmigrates to an era that never existed in history. There are four kingdoms here: Nanlin, Dongshi, Beihan, and Xisha.
Nanlin is rich in resources, with thriving trade and a rigid social hierarchy.
Dongshi is rich in mineral resources and is the largest destination for human trafficking.
Beihan is poor in resources and lies in a wild, untamed land. Women are scarce, and the men are rough and savage.
Xisha arose in a vast desert, where its people depend on oases to survive. Many Xishans know illusion magic, their cavalry is uncanny, and their capital moves with the oases.
Bai Hanyu travels across the four kingdoms in her off-road RV, but a whole crowd of tagalongs trails behind her. The most annoying is that great general from Nanlin. He keeps claiming she saved his life and insisting on repaying her by marrying her.
(The leads fall in love over time. At first, they don’t realize their feelings. Their relationship grows from mutual benefit and exploitation into deep understanding, attraction, and admiration.)
Although the heroine was born into a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, she knows little about it. As a surgeon, she relies entirely on technology. Later, she gradually learns traditional Chinese medicine in the ancient world and treats patients without high-tech equipment.
The hero was once a general who protected his country. But after the ruler grew wary and suspicious of him, he set out to overthrow the regime. In the end, he usurps the throne and becomes Nanlin’s ruler.
(There is a second male lead! An ensemble cast! The heroine isn’t invincible, and neither is her space!)
It's pretty good, keep up the good work
Wearing + Substitute Marriage + General Everyone prefers RV, so I like to read it, so I will read it slowly. It feels like a slow novel, suitable for killing time. If you don't like invincible and refreshing novels, you can read it.
