The Rise and Fall of the Demon Lord

A classic wuxia world of clashing righteousness and evil, countless sects, and tangled webs of power. The righteous side is led by the Five Mountain Sword Sects, Shaolin, and Wudang, all of whom uphold chivalry. The evil side is represented by groups such as the Netherworld Pavilion and the Blood Lotus Cult, whose methods are secretive and ruthless. The jianghu is also home to neutral factions, mysterious clans, and wandering martial artists who stand apart from both sides.

Li Qinze is a peerless demon feared by all, but his true motives and past are shrouded in mystery. He must face not only the righteous factions closing in on him and other evil factions coveting his power, but also the internal dangers posed by three companions, each harboring their own schemes. The story explores power, revenge, betrayal, redemption, and the redefinition of what it means to be righteous or evil. (All the characters in the novel are my real-life friends. It’s an unconventional jianghu adventure starring me and my friends.)
