The Haunted House: It Begins When I Board the Bus

Cheng Huan, a woman at the lowest point in her life, accidentally boards a driverless bus and arrives at the Black Haunted House with a group of cursed people. The terrifying world beyond the Haunted House's blood-red door forcibly draws everyone in to complete horror scenarios at regular intervals. On the brink of death, Cheng Huan activates the System and sets off on a path of “fighting monsters and leveling up.” But hostile forces covet the System's power and continually obstruct her attempts to obtain resources. Cheng Huan is hiding crucial information connected to the System's origins. If it comes to light, the villains and the final BOSS will relentlessly hunt her down. She faces a difficult choice: use the System's power to exact revenge, or uphold justice and stop an even greater conspiracy. Along the way, her limited abilities and physical and emotional trauma make it hard for her to survive in the world of horrors, while other cursed people misunderstand and ostracize her. Every time she defeats a supernatural threat, she grows stronger, but those victories come at the cost of her companions' lives. The cursed are forced through the blood-red door under a strict time limit, and the Haunted House and the hostile supernatural realm beyond the door constantly threaten her life. But with her resilience, clear head, and determination, Cheng Huan continues to grow in the face of despair, gradually uncovering the secrets behind the Haunted House and the System.
