Lin Chen graduated straight into unemployment. With nowhere else to turn, he took a temporary job at a funeral home, only to unexpectedly become the “sole heir” to the rundown place. He thought his life had hit rock bottom, but this was actually where his cheat-powered rise began! This funeral home isn’t a crematorium at all. It’s the ultimate back door connecting the worlds of mortals, immortals, and ghosts! Every body brought in is an “experience pack”: burn the wicked and earn hellish powers; deliver the virtuous to the afterlife and gain immortal-world scriptures; and, if he’s lucky, he can even refine the corpse of a god into a clone of his own! Immortals, Buddhas, demons, and monsters all have to line up here after death. He decides who gets burned, and only those he chooses get into heaven! The gatekeepers might be Ox-Head and Horse-Face, the makeup artist could be a fox demon, and every grieving family is hiding something. Watch Lin Chen go from a naive temp to a schemer who plays the fool while striking from the shadows, refining clones, seizing territory, swindling gods, and tricking the King of Hell. He dances between the powerful figures of all three realms until he turns this morgue into the center of power controlling them all!
Very well written
