Our Huaxia Expeditionary Army: What's Wrong with Founding a Nation Overseas?

This is a military alternate-history novel set in a parallel world. The story is entirely fictional. Please do not draw parallels with real-world countries or history! After a blocking mission in northern Shanguo, Tang Fan, chief of staff of the 8th Company, 2nd Regiment of the Huaxia Expeditionary Force, must choose between crossing the Savage Mountains or waging guerrilla warfare where he is. Knowing the Savage Mountains' terrifying death rate, he decides to stay in Shanguo with more than fifty soldiers and establish a base for guerrilla operations. After World War II ends, he refuses to return home to fight in the civil war. Using Guogang as his base, he establishes an armed force to protect the rights of the Huaxia people. After twenty years of military and political struggle, he ultimately unifies the Republic of Shanguo and establishes a nation overseas!
