After He Sent Me to Cultivate Duality with Someone Else, My Senior Brother’s Eyes Turned Red

Moon Sovereign Baili Changying needed a naturally alluring woman to protect him while he broke through to the next cultivation level. I heard he'd set his sights on my poor, lonely junior sister, Qingtan. The date for his seclusion was set for seven days later. After my Dao companion, Chongzhao, found out, he disappeared for three days. When I finally found him, I overheard him talking to a friend: “You have to make sure the exchange formation activates properly on the day the Moon Sovereign enters seclusion, so we can swap Tantan to my side.” “I can't just stand by and watch Tantan become that demon's dual-cultivation furnace!” His friend thumped his chest. “Don't worry, leave it to us.” “But what about Chu Wei?” “Once she enters seclusion, she'll have to stay there for seven days. If no one dual-cultivates with her to help her survive the tribulation, she'll be torn apart by the heavenly lightning.” Chongzhao impatiently rubbed his brow. “Whatever else you say, Baili Changying is Chu Wei's master. He'll definitely step in to help.” “After Tantan and I finish dual-cultivating, he'll probably have helped Chu Wei through her tribulation too. It'll work out perfectly for everyone. Chu Wei won't blame me.” I gave a bitter laugh and turned to leave. But when Chongzhao came to fetch me after I emerged from seclusion, he fell to his knees, his eyes red.
