Lin Wei unexpectedly transmigrates into The Unrivaled Tang Sect as Juzi, destined to become a pawn in Xu Tianran’s schemes and miss her chance with Huo Yuhao. Remembering the original character’s tragic fate, she grips the orange strands of Soul Power within her Martial Soul, “Juzi,” and quietly vows to rewrite her destiny.
In the Star Dou Forest, she gets there first, shielding Huo Yuhao from the Hell Spirit Cat’s claws and saving him. By the campfire late that night, she teaches him to control his Soul Power, then uses calming herbs to dispel the Three-Eyed Golden Lion’s mental attack. This divine beast, whose fate is bound to that of the soul beasts, grows genuinely fond of Huo Yuhao because of her intervention.
The Shrek trials conceal a crisis. Tang San sets up an illusion to bind Huo Yu Yuhao to Tang Wutong’s destined path, but with a transmigrator’s foresight, Lin Wei wraps orange threads around Huo Yuhao’s wrist and pulls him back to reality just before the illusion collapses. When Fan Yu offers her a place at the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineering Academy, she firmly refuses, unwilling to follow the original Juzi’s path of being shackled to Soul Tools and power.
Amid the blizzards of the Far North, she helps Huo Yuhao stabilize his fusion with the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm, then persuades the Ice Empress and Snow Empress to reside within him as well, helping him awaken the twin Martial Souls of the Ice Jade Emperor Scorpion. When Tang San repeatedly intervenes from the divine realm, she joins forces with the soul beast legion led by Di Tian to raise defenses time and again, refusing to let Huo Yuhao become a pawn controlled by the gods.
When the Three-Eyed Golden Lion sacrifices itself to protect Huo Yuhao, Lin Wei tearfully accepts the trust it places in her. In the end, Huo Yuhao defeats Tang San as both the God of Emotion and the Ice God, and the two finally break free of fate’s chains. A passage between worlds glimmers among the ruins of the Far North. One side leads to Douluo Dalu, where they can stay together; the other leads to her homeland. She takes Huo Yuhao’s hand, with a new order where humans and soul beasts coexist behind them. This is her defiant journey to rewrite the story, protect the one she loves, and fight the gods.
