I Married a Comatose Man for Good Luck, Then Chose to Leave with His Child

On the night of her wedding, Su Wanyue, the legitimate daughter of the chancellor’s household, lifts her red veil and stares at the unconscious General Dingbei in bed. “Since we’re married, we might as well consummate the marriage.” As she slips out of her wedding dress, the man who has been unconscious for three years suddenly curls his fingers. He has been aware all along, but unable to move.

When her bedridden husband suddenly sits up, when her three stepsons offer her their secret savings and beg her not to leave, and when the whole city gossips about the general’s household and its scandalous pursuit of his wife, Su Wanyue finally realizes she is the prey being stalked by a hunter. This time, she’s taking charge. “Want to marry me again? First, kneel on a durian, then recite The Admonitions for Women, and finally... give me a whole soccer team of kids!”
