The Tyrant’s Beloved: Charming and Delicious

Food blogger Su Ruanruan unexpectedly transmigrates into a palace-intrigue novel as a doomed young concubine who only survives for three chapters. The original character was executed by the tyrant for secretly hiding pastries during the selection. To stay alive, Su Ruanruan decides to win the tyrant over with food. What she doesn’t know is that she has a naturally flirtatious charm, and every little thing she does leaves the tyrant, Ye Chenyuan, struggling to control himself.

“Your Majesty, this is a rose pastry I’ve just created…” Su Ruanruan timidly looks up as she holds out the treat, only to see the tyrant staring intently at her lips.

“I’d much rather taste… my beloved consort.”

Ye Chenyuan was born under a lonely, ill-fated star and despises everyone who approaches him, until a young concubine stumbles into his world. She’s terrified of him, yet always brings him the sweetest treats with her gentle fingers. He assumes she must have ulterior motives, but then discovers something unexpected: whenever he gets close to her, he can hear her innermost thoughts.

“The tyrant seems to be in a good mood today. Should I offer him some of my new mango pancakes?”

“Waaah, he’s so scary, but so handsome…”

“Oh no, oh no. If he keeps looking at me, I’m going to faint…”

Ye Chenyuan gradually becomes addicted to this unique feast of the mind. He dismisses the harem, overturns old customs, and even cooks for her himself. But when a conspiracy closes in, he realizes that her arrival was no accident…
