Gourmet System: Stinking Tofu Makes the Whole Court Crave a Bite

Xiao Chen transmigrates into the body of a small tavern owner in ancient times, just as the place goes bankrupt. He is facing three vicious debt collectors when the System arrives from nowhere, only to give him a stinky tofu recipe?

When he serves up a bowl of black cubes that smell "fragrant for miles," a burly man pinches his nose and roars, "Are you trying to feed me shit?"

Then the first lackey bites into one, prepared to meet his doom... and his eyes go wide!

"Boss! That stink is addictive! G-give me ten more bowls!"

A few days later, a bizarre frenzy sweeps the entire city. People line up while gagging, officials' sedan chairs block the alleys, and noble young ladies pinch their noses and wolf it down. "Hurry! If I can't buy any more, my father will lose his post!"

Just as the stinky tofu craze sweeps across the dynasty, an official complaint crashes down:

"Your Majesty! That rascal Xiao Chen is using opium!!"
