Help! The Overbearing CEO Can See My On-Screen Comments

After five years as an assistant to the domineering CEO in a cliched angsty romance, I awakened and wanted nothing more than to sit back and enjoy the drama.

The heroine tearfully poured her heart out. My inner voice: [Tsk, crying to manipulate him won’t work on stingy Lu!]

The CEO said coldly, “Transfer ten million to her. Let her cry all she wants.”

Me: ???

He kept me late at the office one night. My inner voice: [Evil capitalist! I curse you to get instant noodles with no seasoning packet!]

The next day, he slid a Michelin meal delivery toward me. “Eat. It’ll keep you quiet.”

The Nth time I remarked that his abs felt like a washboard and would be great to touch, he finally lost patience and pinned me against the wall in front of the million-dollar night view.

“Assistant, my abs,” he said in a husky voice. “You have permission to inspect them yourself.”
