I Became the Cultivation World’s Only True God Through Farming

The male lead, Lu Chen, depends on his younger sister, and is an ordinary orphaned farmer. He has no System, no old master to guide him; the only unusual thing about him is that every crop he grows contains a faint trace of “the Dao’s aura of life.” It can bring the dead back to life, heal the gravely wounded, prolong ordinary people’s lives, and help cultivators break through bottlenecks. This “Dao aura” comes from his innate special constitution, the “Myriad Things Life Dao Body,” which is the incarnation of a fragment of life’s origin from the dawn of creation.

From the start, Lu Chen sets out to save his seriously ill sister. When he grows his first batch of spirit rice imbued with the Dao’s aura, he begins a journey of “shaking the world of cultivation through farming.” Cautious by nature, he lives by a practical rule: “If I can solve it with my brain, I won’t use my fists.” Time and again, with produce that defies common sense and strategies that turn expectations on their head, he keeps local bullies, corrupt officials, cultivation sects, and even the supreme ruler of the Heavenly Dao dancing in the palm of his hand. Along the way, he meets Su Lingyu, a farm girl who can communicate with plants and animals. Their fates become entwined, and together they turn a barren mountain into a sacred land that drives the entire cultivation world wild. In the end, Lu Chen proves the Dao through farming. He undergoes no tribulation and ascends to no higher realm. Instead, he turns his farm into a world of its own and becomes the one true god, free to roam beyond the Three Realms and beyond the Heavenly Dao’s reach.
