I Reclaimed the Southern Wastelands and Shocked the Imperial Court

Once the empire's most dazzling prodigy, Seventh Prince Xiao Tiance was poisoned, suffered cognitive impairment, and became the butt of the royal family's jokes: the “foolish prince.” Cast aside in the struggle for the throne, he was exiled to the southern frontier, a land plagued by miasma and home to a jumble of Baiyue peoples. Everyone thought he would die in his fief, unaware that although the poison damaged his memory, it had unexpectedly awakened his innate gift for “absolute spatial perception.”

With this talent, Xiao Tiance can discern the body's meridians and perform miraculous surgeries, plan the perfect layout for irrigation and farmland, and read the terrain to find hidden treasures and mineral veins. He keeps up the act of a mad, foolish prince, but in secret he proceeds one careful step at a time: reclaiming wasteland, building irrigation systems, improving farm tools, saving lives, winning the people's hearts, and training a private army. Starting with a dilapidated prince's residence and just three servants, he gradually transforms the impoverished southern frontier into a paradise as prosperous as Jiangnan.

As his fief grows stronger, conspiracies from the court, the suspicion of his brothers, and the covetous eyes of enemy nations follow one after another. Xiao Tiance uses his “foolish” facade to mislead his rivals while crushing every enemy who comes against him with overwhelming force. In the process, he also gradually recovers his lost memories and uncovers the shocking conspiracy behind the attempt on his life. At last, using the southern frontier as his base, he turns his sights on the Central Plains and begins a king's journey to defy fate and change his destiny.
