Confession in Red

In Star City, a sleepless metropolis of desire, there is a mysterious “Goodnight Relationship Counseling Studio.”

Its founder, Su Wan, is a legend in the industry. She can get a cheating husband to walk away with nothing over a cup of coffee, or make a clingy lover finally give up with one carefully staged “accident.” She is the professional, efficient, sexy, and expensive “undertaker” of the romantic lives of the city’s men and women.

She believes that “no relationship is impossible to end; you just need to do it with enough grace.” She handles other people’s emotional wreckage with ease, yet can’t sort out her own buried past: the “perfect” ex who disappeared without a word three years ago is the one unfinished ruin in her heart.

Then an outrageously expensive commission comes her way, and its target turns out to be closely connected to her vanished ex. When cold professional principles collide with burning personal feelings, and layer upon layer of disguise is peeled away by a man who is just as dangerous and alluring, Su Wan realizes that what she thought was “tying up loose ends” may only be the beginning of a much bigger deception.

This time, the life she has to put in order is her own.
