The Hilarious Tale of Zhen Huan: Ruhua Causes Chaos in the Palace

Outside the city, the silly girl Ruhua sobbed at a grave and chewed on stale steamed buns. She mistook a kitchen knife for a treasured sword, and, hoping to avenge “Sister Consort Hua,” somehow blundered into the palace. By a twist of fate, she became the Imperial Kitchen’s “Steamed Bun Expert”: turning burnt buns into charcoal balls, hurling buns at assassins, and using them to avert a crisis at the Empress Dowager’s birthday banquet. Even the rebels of the Hailong Gang were “won over” by her buns.

From the Imperial Kitchen to the deserts of the Western Regions, from the islands of the South Seas to the Antarctic ice fields, and even into mysterious realms among the stars, this silly girl takes her buns wherever she goes. Batch after batch of hot, fresh buns cures the miserly chief steward of his stinginess, softens the ambitions of a rebel gang leader, and helps her sell Earth’s steamed buns across the universe!

When palace intrigue meets a burst of silliness, and hardcore adventures collide with adorable steamed buns, watch Ruhua stir up laughter and warmth across the world, inside and outside the palace and among the stars, with nothing but a bowl of flour and a steamer full of buns.
