Liu He, Marquis of Haihun

A modern office drone's soul transmigrates into Liu He. He awakens on the eve of entering the palace, face-to-face with the countdown to his fate as the "27-day emperor." Even with memories of history, an individual can hardly defy fate in the face of an absolute power structure and the tide of the times. Liu He's 27 days as emperor are both a personal struggle and a reflection of the mid-Western Han's power struggle between the court officials and the throne. In the end, everyone becomes a footnote in history.
