Interstellar Game: From Earth to the Galaxy

In 077, a sudden “game from the heavens” changed the fate of human civilization. The “Starrealm Game System,” created by a higher civilization, digitized the entire Earth, forcibly transporting 1.5 billion people to the perilous beginner planet AX-37, where they became “new players” in the vast universe. Their former home crumbled to dust, and the familiar rules of civilization collapsed. In their place came a life-or-death mission to “survive for 72 hours” and the merciless rule that “death means permanent erasure.” Game designer Li Chen, whose professional instincts made him sensitive to the “System interface,” was among the first survivors to respond calmly to the crisis. He joins forces with Wang Qiang, a former elite soldier, Lin Wei, a graduate student in linguistics, and others. Beneath a dark red sky and towering satellites, they face the wilderness, starting with building thatched huts and making stone axes as they battle deadly iron-eating bugs and ironclad beasts, decipher the secrets of alien symbols, and gradually unlock the basic skills needed to survive among the stars. Just as the struggle to survive on the beginner planet begins to show signs of hope, an announcement of “star sector mergers” thrusts humanity onto a much broader cosmic stage. Faced with the technologically superior Kosar Empire, alien civilizations of every shape and form, and the life-or-death “Civilization Qualification Challenge,” humanity must find a place for itself in the interstellar struggle.
