Your Highness, Let's Rebel

Wuze Cang, a modern university student, unexpectedly transmigrates to the Great Wu dynasty, a kingdom with more than four hundred years of history and crises lurking everywhere, and becomes the overlooked fourth prince. His mother died young, his father is suspicious by nature, and his brothers each have their own schemes. He only wants to protect himself, keeping to the bitter, remote northwest. With his modern outlook and kind heart, he inadvertently turns his fiefdom of Hezhou into a thriving, well-run domain that draws talented people from all sides. He had planned to lie flat and enjoy a quiet life, but the times and his retainers push him step by step to the heights of power, until he is ultimately forced to don the imperial robes.
