My Primeval Mountains and Seas

Li Jiuyue, a fragile modern literature student, is hit by a car and wakes up after transmigrating to a prehistoric era, where he has become Li Jiugo, son of Chiyou, chieftain of the Jiuli Tribe. In this prehistoric age, countless clans vie for power and all kinds of strange beasts roam the land. For humanity, survival and passing on their heritage are the most important things. As the young lord of the Jiuli, Li Jiugo bears the responsibility of a powerful tribe. But when he hears of a northern tribe called Yan, he learns that the Jiuli will ultimately lose the Battle of Zhuolu, and resolves to change fate. Yet the more he learns about this prehistoric era, the more wrong things seem. Then, one day, aliens invade. Suddenly, familiar myths such as Kuafu chasing the sun, Jingwei filling the sea, Xingtian fighting heaven, Chang’e flying to the moon, and Houyi shooting down the suns become part of his everyday life. And every one of these stories turns out to recount the same history: the tragic epic of Earth’s native humans battling and defeating an advanced alien civilization to protect the legacy of their civilization.
