Useless Freedom

Here, your value is measured to one decimal place.

Welcome to the future, an utterly "harmonious" and supremely "efficient" performance-driven society. The omnipresent Comprehensive Evaluation System scores every aspect of your life in real time: your breathing, your smile, your social life, even your filial devotion to your parents. Everything is reduced to cold numbers that determine your entire fate.

Until one day, you discover a place with no performance metrics, no evaluations, a place that could be called "useless"...

This book originally contained only the story Useless Freedom, but it didn't meet the recommended word count, so I decided to add several more dystopian novels and stories about reflecting on the future, dividing them into separate volumes.

Thank you all for your support.

Almost no one was reading this book, according to the stats, so I've stopped updating it and marked it complete. Please understand.
