Be Good, Baby, I Only Want You

[Timid, well-behaved girl ✘ sweet-looking but secretly dark, brooding man + awakening + possessive, obsessive sweet romance + pretending turns real + intense possessiveness + childhood friend chases his wife, then has a total meltdown] Sang Tian and Song Xinye grew up together. She watched his girlfriends come and go from childhood onward, yet she still couldn’t stop herself from loving him. Until their sophomore year of college, when she overheard him outside a bar, sneering, “How could I possibly like her? She clings to me like a dog. It’s so annoying.” After ten years of being a lovesick doormat, a bolt of lightning jolted Sang Tian awake. She realized she was nothing but a doormat cannon-fodder character in a novel about a playboy turning over a new leaf. Was she going to love him until they both died? Riding the madness of having been struck by lightning, she grabbed a kind-looking guy walking by. “I’ll send you 500. Will you be my boyfriend for one night?” She generously sent him 666. The next morning, she suddenly realized that the perfect boyfriend she’d bought for 666 was the ruthless, unhinged yandere villain from the novel! Sang Tian’s brain short-circuited and her mind went blank. How had a little cannon-fodder character like her managed to buy herself a full-blown yandere for 666? It was easy to summon a god, but hard to send one away. She tried to run, but the man pinned her dangerously against a limited-edition supercar. “Why are you running? Didn’t you say you’d give me your life after one kiss?” She was done for. She seemed to have provoked someone she shouldn’t have. Later, Song Xinye stood outside her home, eyes red, begging her to take him back. Inside, she was sitting on the unhinged yandere villain’s lap, kissing him. The man held her chin, smiling tenderly. “He’s looking for you now. Does he want me to kill him?” “Big guy, don’t hurt him.” He smiled cruelly. “Fine, I won’t. You do it. “Be a good girl, bite here…”
