Early Autumn in Shenyang

Early autumn in Shenyang brings cool mornings and hot afternoons, with the cicadas growing quieter as the season shifts. The morning air is crisp, but the markets are bustling and people add another layer. By noon, the sun blazes overhead, skewers smell delicious, and ice pops taste sweet, like the last lingering note of summer. In the afternoon, a cool breeze drifts by as people listen to storytelling at teahouses and children gather fallen leaves, and autumn begins to show itself. At dusk, people stroll along the Hun River, where lights shimmer on the water; when night falls and the air turns chilly, they put on another layer. This early autumn brings warm and cool days in turn, full of the everyday warmth and bustle of old Shenyang.
