You Are My Moonlight, Jiuli

This book includes my own original character, so proceed at your own risk. Jiuli is an overworked wage slave, crushed by life every day. Her only comforts are watching Ultraman and collecting figures. Her favorite character is Tregear, a villain who's equal parts good and evil and steeped in tragedy. She never dreamed that one day she'd transmigrate into the world of Ultraman and become the forbidden being Tregear loves obsessively: the Ultraman Loluowei. The System tells her she can return to reality only after completing every mission. But when she comes face-to-face with Tregear, so possessive and frenzied yet so deeply in love, her resolve begins to waver. He forces her into a pact and imprisons her, yet every time danger strikes, he shields her. He says, “You are my light, my chaos, the only being I want to possess.” She struggles and runs, but through their long entanglement, she realizes she has already fallen for him. Yet fate is never kind. In the end, she has to return to reality, while he is destined to wait forever. At the very end In the real world, Jiuli clutches her Tregear figure as tears fall onto the cold plastic. She whispers, “I'm sorry... Forget me.” At the other end of the universe, Tregear strokes the ring he has never taken off and gazes at the endless starry sky. He says softly: “I believe that one day, you'll come back... We'll meet again.”
