The Glorious Sky Screen: From the Start, It Reveals the An Lushan Rebellion

At the height of the Kaiyuan Prosperity, the sky above Chang’an suddenly split open, and a “sky screen” spanning the heavens appeared! It showed images from a later age: An Lushan’s rebel cavalry trampling across the land, the imperial consort perishing on Mawei Slope, and the horrifying words “warlords carve up the realm” and “the Great Tang in decline.” A prophecy of the dynasty’s fall flashed across the sky. The dream of a golden age shattered in an instant, plunging court and country into panic. Li Yan, a poor student struggling to pass the imperial examinations, was shocked to discover that he was the **only one beneath this magnificent sky screen who could understand the “heavenly voice” of the future**. This strange ability swept him into the heart of the empire’s storm. Using his “foresight” to interpret events, he cautiously navigates between the suspicious and senile Xuanzong, power-hungry ministers, ambitious military governors, and the ever-watchful crown prince, becoming a pawn whom every faction seeks either to claim or destroy. A fourteen-year countdown hangs over him! Though as insignificant as an ant, Li Yan wields “revealing the secrets of the future” as a blade. He must warn of disasters and guide the court to prepare for war and seize a chance of survival, while planting the seeds of future knowledge despite fierce resistance. Every intervention stirs history and brings unforeseen changes. Can he defy fate amid the flood of prophecy and save the magnificent Great Tang from its impending collapse? An epic struggle against destiny begins!
