Journey to the West: Breaking Precepts Makes Me Stronger, and I Slay the False Buddha in Fury

At the peak of Spirit Mountain, the golden armor of Sun Wukong, the Victorious Fighting Buddha, shone with dazzling holy light. Three hundred years of Buddhist teachings seemed to have smoothed away every rough edge.

Yet now, standing shoulder to shoulder with Buddha Tathagata, he was fighting a strange shadow that sought to corrupt the Heavenly Dao.

“Wukong, help me!” Tathagata’s voice boomed with divine authority. Sun Wukong did not hesitate for a moment, turning his back to the supreme ruler of the Three Realms. But just as he unleashed his divine power to its limit, a merciless palm struck his Buddha-heart from behind!

“Puh!” Golden Buddha-blood gushed forth.

“B-Buddha… you?!” He turned around in disbelief, only to see a strange smile on Tathagata’s compassionate face.

“Your mission is complete.”

Before the words had even faded, the golden circlet on his head, the Buddhist robe on his body, and even his title of “Victorious Fighting Buddha” all transformed into countless golden chains, binding him fast! His magic power receded like the tide.

“Ding! The Host has suffered the ultimate betrayal. The mythological system is collapsing…”

“[Myriad Demons’ Pilgrimage Record] activated! Choose your path: A. Accept your fate and sink into oblivion, becoming a stone. B. Rekindle your demonic heart and burn every Buddha to ashes!”

“I choose B! I, Old Sun, am the Great Sage Equal to Heaven!!!”
