The Demon Lord Insists on Marrying a Female General

Lin Wanzhao, the Great Yan dynasty's female general who guards the nation, grew up cold and fiercely independent after her parents were killed by enemy forces. Skilled at leading troops, she has never given her heart to anyone. Chu Zhaolie, the Demon Lord of the Blood Moon Cult, was saved by Lin Wanzhao as a child. Since then, he has been obsessively devoted to protecting her, and even though they stand on opposite sides, he insists on spending his life with her. When an old battlefield injury seals Lin Wanzhao's abilities and leaves her fighting for her life, Chu Zhaolie defies the divide between the demonic cult and the righteous sects, openly declares his love, and joins her in facing a cunning revenge-driven villain, the mastermind behind the massacre of her family. Through protection and sacrifice, Lin Wanzhao remains independent, refusing to rely on anyone. In the end, she and Chu Zhaolie defeat their enemy together, showing through their lives what it means to protect someone.
