A Hero's Record: The Five Rats Stir Up the Capital

The Five Rats of Hollow Island swore brotherhood, each possessing a unique skill. Bai Yutang was proud and haughty. When the Imperial Cat, Zhan Zhao, became famous in Bianliang for his rivalry with him before the emperor, Bai refused to accept it and angrily left his brothers. His nighttime raid on the palace startled the imperial court. The emperor flew into a rage and sent Zhan Zhao to arrest him. When the two heroes first met in Bianliang, they immediately tested each other’s mettle, and Bai Yutang went on to show off his full bag of tricks in a riotous escapade in Kaifeng. Lu Fang and the other three Rats traveled to the capital to help him, and when they finally met in a narrow passage, they put aside their suspicions and spared one another. Yet beneath the hostility and undercurrents between the Five Rats and the Imperial Cat, strange forces were stirring within the dynasty.

The Imperial Preceptor presented a treasure with treacherous intent, unleashing a world of blood curses and bitter cold! Blood stained deserted shrines, Buddhist temples fell to calamity, and the capital was shrouded in the peril of restless spirits. A glimpse of Heaven’s secrets appeared amid the chaos. A treacherous minister seized the moment to bare his fangs and force his way into the palace, leaving the empire on the brink of collapse. With the realm about to fall and demonic miasma blotting out the sun, former rivals, the Five Rats and the Imperial Cat Zhan Zhao, cast aside their grievances and united against their common foe!

The Five Heroes reunited and stormed the forbidden palace once more, each displaying his own special skills as they plunged into the dragon’s lair. In the Zichen Hall, a decisive battle that would determine the fate of the realm erupted! The Five Rats and the Cat stood together, loyal to one another, using their flesh and blood, unmatched courage, and boundless wisdom to challenge the evil artifact and break the blood curse. At last, when the dust settled, their righteousness and enduring loyalty swept away the demonic miasma and rescued the realm from the brink of disaster. A legend that began with a clash of pride became an immortal monument to chivalry, as they faced the demonic calamity together and defended the realm as one.
