When Hot Pot Meets an Iceberg

Lin Xiaotang, the “Little Chili Pepper” of a Chengdu hotpot restaurant, lives life with a Sichuan twang. She's a native of Chengdu, Sichuan, around twenty-five years old. Fiery and straightforward, optimistic and resilient, she's got a bit of that “Little Chili Pepper” spirit. She speaks up whenever she sees injustice, and when she's in the right, she's especially quick-witted and sharp-tongued. Her Sichuan dialect can make people furious and hopping mad, yet leave them helpless to respond.

She's sweet and cute, with a round face, big eyes, and dimples when she smiles. When she's angry, her puffed-up cheeks are especially adorable.

Career: At first, she's a server and junior supervisor at “Shu Wei Xuan,” a well-known, long-established hotpot restaurant in Chengdu. Later, thanks to her unique understanding of Sichuan cuisine and hotpot, as well as her business sense, she grows into a promoter of Sichuan food culture and the founder of a restaurant brand.
