King of Strength: The Mad Dragon of Purgatory

Guofen Prison, a living hell in 2001. He Liwang was thrown into this privately run den of iniquity after killing a drug dealer to avenge his girlfriend Yingying, who had been brutally murdered. Inside, the deputy warden, One-Eyed Snake, colludes with the four ward kings of the east, west, north, and south blocks, preying on the prisoners and secretly growing poppies for profit. Liwang, a master of iron-body kung fu, cannot stand by as Wildcat bullies the weak. He steps in and puts an end to his abuse, but this draws him into a deadly showdown with Ahai, king of the north block. From smashing Ahai’s skull to setting fire to the poppy fields and enraging the warden, Liwang tears away the prison’s dark veil one layer at a time. When the warden, himself a master of iron-body kung fu who can transform into a monstrous giant, finally bares his fangs, this bloody rebellion will end in a raging assault that breaks down the prison walls and frees everyone trapped inside. Liwang’s fists are the only justice in this place.
