The Fourth Calamity: My Elf Queen Wants to Turn the Tables

The First World Tree Goddess, Verdandi, awakens from chaos to find that her former believer, Helios, has usurped her divine throne and slaughtered her elven followers. Weak as she is, she connects to Earth's internet and packages her otherworldly realm as the virtual reality game Age of the Elves, drawing in billions of chaotic players to serve as the Fourth Calamity.

The players bribe dragons with hot pot, charge into battle shouting "For the Horde!", and even smash temples with kamikaze truck tactics. The elf queen, Isela, goes from wary to trusting, fighting alongside Verdandi. As Helios's divine kingdom crumbles amid the players' antics, Verdandi wraps an arm around a battered Isela and chuckles, "Look, this is the empire I conquered for you." And a greater ancient threat is quietly emerging in the wake of the divine war.
