Synopsis

The Ultraman Series is a Japanese tokusatsu franchise launched by Tsuburaya Productions in 1966. Built around the premise of giant heroes battling monsters and aliens, it has continued for nearly 60 years and become one of the most influential tokusatsu franchises in the world. The original series, Ultraman (1966), established the classic formula of an ordinary person transforming into a giant hero. Hayata, a member of the Science Special Search Party, accidentally merges with Ultraman from the M78 Nebula. Whenever Earth faces a monster threat, he transforms into a giant to protect humanity. The series has since introduced many new Ultraman characters, including Seven, Jack, Taro, and Tiga, while developing themes such as the bond between heroes and humanity and the pursuit of peace. It has also continually advanced its tokusatsu techniques, from suit design and special-effects sets to the use of CGI today, maintaining its visual impact throughout. The works of different generations each tell their own stories, while shared concepts such as the Ultra Brothers and the Land of Light connect them into a common universe. This welcomes new viewers while giving longtime fans nostalgic crossovers. From the classic nostalgia of the Showa era, to the more thoughtful storytelling of the Heisei era, such as Ultraman Tiga's exploration of humanity and divinity, and the youthful style of the Reiwa era, exemplified by Ultraman Z's lighthearted energy, the Ultraman Series has always kept pace with the times and conveyed the values of courage, unity, and hope.

Are There Stories Where the Protagonist Becomes a Brand-New Ultraman Instead of an Existing One?

I mean stories where the protagonist becomes a brand-new Ultraman, not transmigrates into an old one like Tiga, Cosmos, or Zero, and not one of those especially powerful Ultramen either. A completely new one.
