Ultraman Card King

At an anime convention, Wu Jian is wearing a top-quality replica of Xiao Yan’s outfit and posing for photos with a cute girl in a JK uniform when a flash of white light sends him straight into Ultraman Leo.

The bad news: This is the world of Ultraman Leo, the most brutal of the Showa era, known as a “hell-level stage” where monsters casually dismember their victims.

The good news: The prop Heavy Xuan Ruler in his hand has come to life.

System: “Congratulations, Host. You’ve received the beginner’s pack: [Greatsword Mastery] and [Ultraman Tiga (Blue)].”

Relying on the muscle memory he learned from the System, he swings the massive black ruler and manages to block a monster’s arm blade, which could slice through steel, saving MAC member Suzuki, who was as good as dead.

Because he displayed combat strength beyond human limits, Wu Jian is given a special appointment by MAC captain Dan Moroboshi.

From then on, MAC has a new kind of member: one who never uses a gun, only a sword.

“That young man with the black sword is beyond even my ability to read, despite being Ultraseven myself.”, Dan Moroboshi

“Senior Wu Jian’s training is even more terrifying than the captain’s Jeep!”, Gen Ohtori

However, the Heavy Xuan Ruler’s true power has only just awakened.

When Wu Jian defeats Ultra Warriors and monsters, the corresponding cards will condense on the sword.

Low-level cards let him use their corresponding skills, while high-level cards can even transform him into the corresponding Ultraman or monster!
