Snow Dragon Protects the Meridians: The Defiant Disciple of Tianyuan

The demonic menace has risen again on the Tianyuan Continent. Secret realms are opening one after another, and spiritual veins containing supreme power have become the focus of battles between sects from across the heavens. Xiao Yan, a disciple of the Qingyun Sect, cultivates in seclusion while guarding Spirit Spring Valley. But after taking in Su Ningshuang, a girl born with her spiritual veins completely severed, he is branded a sect disgrace by Elder Lei Cang of the Law Enforcement Hall, accused of “monopolizing a spiritual vein” and “using a priceless treasure for himself.” When he gives a Soul-Nurturing Jade to his supposedly useless disciple, the entire sect turns against him.

As the Blood Dragon Demon tears open the sky with a storm of bone-white winds, the people of Spirit Spring Valley close their eyes and await death in despair. Then Su Ningshuang, mocked as “rotten wood,” suddenly rises into the air. Divine light bursts skyward as the aspect of an ice-crystal snow dragon blots out the sun. Its breath scatters the Blood Dragon’s bones. “Anyone who insults my master will die!” Her clear voice shatters the clouds, and the scorn of the past gives way to bone-deep terror.

No one knows that the Soul-Nurturing Jade awakened not only Su Ningshuang’s fate-defying spiritual root, but also the snow dragon bloodline that had slumbered for countless ages. No one suspected that Xiao Yan was protecting more than a spiritual spring: he was guarding the shocking key to the Demon Ancestor’s resurrection. As master and disciple join forces to overcome each crisis, a catastrophe of spiritual veins and a great reshuffling of the sects are about to erupt across the continent, beginning with the dragon’s roar from this desperate place.
