I’m a GM and Part-Time Demon Lord: From the Start, I Rewrite the Empress

[GM Permissions + Mastermind Behind the Scenes + Demonic Cultivation + Misunderstandings] Also known as: [Please, Stop Reading So Much Into Everything! I’m Really Not the Observer of This World] As the lead designer of the game Gods and Demons, Li Yue was sucked into its world during the final closed beta, becoming the young master of a small demonic sect on the verge of annihilation. Worst of all, the leader of the righteous alliance, the future “Saintess of Salvation” renowned for her purity and demon-slaying, was leading an army to the sect’s gates. Luckily, I still have some GM permissions! [Target: Saintess of Salvation (Future Empress)] [Attempting to modify favorability... Failed!] [Attempting to modify attribute: “Hatred of demonic cultivators,” value: 100, to “Curiosity about demonic cultivators,” value: 10] Modification successful! And so, the murderous Saintess looked at me, a little demon, and suddenly tilted her head. “You demonic cultivators... what do you usually talk about?” From then on, Li Yue used his GM permissions to fix bugs in the world while matching wits with the Saintess. What he didn’t know was that, in everyone else’s eyes, each of his “modifications” was an unfathomable demonic art. The Saintess even made up her own story, believing he was a true reformer of demonic cultivation who worried for all living beings, albeit one with rather extreme methods. Years later, players arrived. “Quick! Accept the Saintess’s quest and go defeat the Great Demon Venerable, Li Yue!” After fighting their way to the Demon Palace, the players saw their revered Saintess personally draping a robe over Li Yue’s shoulders. In a gentle voice, she said, “It’s getting chilly, husband. Don’t catch a cold. Which disobedient holy land shall we wipe out first today?”
