Noble Blood and Wild Grass: A Humble-Born Woman Borrows a Body to Break the Deadlock

On a stormy night, Su Wang is dragged off to a brothel by her aunt, who plans to sell her for cash. The moment she crashes against the threshold of the Xie family's old residence, her ancestral jade pendant shatters. She becomes Xie Yan, the legitimate son of the Xie family, while the real Xie Yan, wearing her bloodied face, is being pinned to a filthy bed by the madam.

The Xie family drove mine to their deaths. Today, your blood will pay tribute to the dead!

She strangles her aunt and hurls the body into the Xie ancestral shrine. Draped in a nobleman's embroidered robe, she uses the ruthlessness of the poor to publicly expose the secret that Xie Yan's birth mother was a “lowborn concubine.” Xie Chongshan draws his blade to kill her, but she only smiles and pulls open his robe. “You kept my mother's bloodstained clothes. Are you afraid her vengeful ghost will come for you?”

At the brothel, Xie Yan kills the madam in self-defense and finds the Xie family's debt document hidden in Su Wang's shoe. It turns out the suffering this body endured was bloodier than every scheme he faced in his life as a nobleman. Using streetwise tricks, he sneaks into a money house and steals three chests of debt notes against poor families that the Xie family “destroyed” every year. Then he sings “Lament of the Poor” in the street, drawing the people together to surround the aristocratic clan's granary.

When Su Wang brings “aunt stew” to force Xie Chongshan to his knees, and Xie Yan raises a shard of a bronze cauldron and cries, “The queen has returned,” the jade pendants suddenly fuse. The founding history of Great Chu comes to light: the aristocratic clans once stole the realm of a queen born among the poor, and Su Wang is the reincarnated wildfire of vengeance!

“Today we burn the clans to ash; tomorrow we sow fields for the poor!”

She stirs up a storm in the body of a noble, while he kindles the flames of rebellion in the body of a commoner. This soul-swapping game was never a mere household power struggle. It is a class revolution that will let wild grass overrun the aristocracy's towering trellises!
