Love After a Whirlwind Marriage: Mr. Gu Can’t Hide His Feelings

"Love After a Whirlwind Wedding: Mr. Gu Can’t Hide His Feelings"

To raise money for her father’s surgery, Su Yue barges into the Gu Group and nervously asks Mr. Gu, who is rumored to be as cold as ice, “Mr. Gu, would you consider a whirlwind wedding? For one year, I’ll be your contract wife. I don’t need a title, just three hundred thousand yuan.”

Gu Yichen looks at the girl before him, her eyes red but her expression stubbornly composed. He runs his fingers over his fountain pen. “All right. But remember, this is only an act. Don’t fall for me.”

After they sign the contract, Su Yue moves into the Gu family villa and discovers that the icy CEO is full of surprises:

When she makes instant noodles in the middle of the night, he calls them “junk food,” then turns around and stocks the kitchen with her favorite vegetable noodles.

When her coworkers bully her, he tosses her a file of evidence, his face cold. “No one gets to lay a finger on someone who belongs to Mrs. Gu.”

When his ex-girlfriend pesters him at a banquet, he pulls Su Yue protectively into his arms and announces to everyone, “Allow me to introduce my wife.”

Su Yue gradually begins to panic. Are they taking this act too far?

Then, one night, she catches Gu Yichen staring at her design sketches. His phone’s lock screen is a photo of her looking disheveled on the day she moved in.

The tips of his ears turn red as he feigns composure. “...I set it by accident.”

Su Yue raises an eyebrow. “Mr. Gu, it seems you can’t hide your feelings anymore.”
