[Bone Soil: Blood Road to the Western Heaven] Dark Journey to the West

At Lion Camel Ridge, mountains of corpses and seas of blood rise beneath piles of bones. Tang Sanzang is dead, slain on Spirit Mountain one second before attaining Buddhahood. In full view of the gods and Buddhas, Sha Wujing smashed his body with his staff. Beneath the Buddha of Spirit Mountain lies a landscape of corpses and blood, where even the soil is made of human skin and flesh. Thousands upon thousands of demons live on this land.

This is the hell on earth beneath Spirit Mountain. At Lion Camel Ridge, bones lie like scales, human hair is woven into felt, rotting flesh crumbles into dust, and human sinews hang from the trees, dried and gleaming like silver. It is truly a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood. The closer the four pilgrims get to Spirit Mountain, the more they see demonic energy soaring above a scene of corpses and blood. Are the Buddhas of Spirit Mountain demons, or Buddhas?
